Innsbruck Airport (LOWI/INN) offers many opportunities for plane spotting. There are several spots around the airport as well as an observation deck from which you can photograph take-offs and landings, as well as taxiing to the parking stands. The mountain in the background is distinctive and, when snow-covered, provides excellent photographs. Innsbruck, especially in the winter, is very busy because it serves dozens of areas with ski resorts that attract tourists from all over the world.
